MJD Needs Help to be a True Fantasy Star
Many people seem to be on the MJD band wagon for this talent running back to have a great fantasy football season. While it is easy to get caught up with all the talent this young runner has and his ability's to score, I can't help but wonder if he will have the team around him this year to succeed.
Don't get me wrong I do believe Drew will have a productive year but if he is to be (as some well respected fantasy analysts say) the No.1 or No.2 pick overall in fantasy, he will need to have a super star season. Especially with all the other runners out their for fantasy owners to draft.
Tonight the offensive line struggled at times as they tried to stop Jason Taylor, Joey Porter and the Dolphins pass rush.
With these struggles David Garrard only produced 4 of 7 passing for 22 yards total in his short work tonight.
At the receiver position it was nice to see Torry Holt play and have one reception for 10 yards but we didn't get the chance to see third year man Mike Walker as he is still injured.
One receiver I did like to see step tonight was receiver Troy Williamson as he went for 4 catches for 74 yards.
If Jones-Drew is to deliver on his lofty expectations we will need to see his passing game continue to grow around him in the preseason.
Dolphins Young Receivers Look Good
Ted Ginn Jr and Devon Bess should both start this season for the Dolphins and I do believe both will be nice value picks at your fantasy draft this season.
Both receivers had two catches in this game and it is going to be crucial that these two youngsters play well and stay healthily if they have any hopes of winning the division again in 2009.
Dolphins Quarterback Depth
Tonight Chad Pennington didn't work a lot like many starting quarterbacks in the league this week. But young quarterbacks Chad Henne and rookie Pat White did see extended playing time this week as they get work in this preseason. Henne had the better night of the two as he was 7 of 11 for 94 yards with a touchdown and a interception.

While White did struggle at times he did flash his "wildcat" skills as he posted 6 carry's for 20 yards rushing.
