What's Up New Orleans?
The Saints didn't have key starters like Drew Brees or Pierre Thomas in the lineup today as they have home field advantage in the playoffs. While it is reasonable to understand why the Saints left key starters out, it's not good that they've lost their final three regular season games.
No team has lost their final three games and made it to the Super Bowl so the Saints will have to be the first to do so.
Obviously, this team needs to wake up if they are going to make a playoff run starting in a couple of weeks from now.
Don't be surprised if this group loses in their first playoff game as the NFC is very deep in talented football teams this year and the Saints are going to run into a very hot team.
Jonathan Stewart Goes Off Again
Johnathan Stewart was already a big name in fantasy football, and now he is just that much bigger after the past three weeks. Against the Vikings, Giants and Saints Stewart has had over 100 yards rushing in every game and at least one touchdown.
Next year DeAngelo Williams will be the starting running back on this team, but if he should get injured, Stewart would be a clear instant stud.
Because of this, Stewart will be the biggest hand cuff running back in fantasy football since Larry Johnson was backing up Priest Holmes.
Matt Moore Should Start Next Year
The Panthers may not let Matt Moore begin the year as the teams starting quarterback, but it shouldn't take long for him to get the job. Because of this, wide receiver Steve Smith may come at a cheaper price at fantasy drafts because some owners won't want to deal with Jake Delhomme.
If you can get Smith as an early mid round draft pick, I say roll with him because if Delhomme doesn't get the job done, Moore will.
