Bears- Lions: Jay Cutler Has Another Solid Game | NFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Chicago Bears v Detroit Lions
If there was ever a team that needed a confidence boost on offense going into the offseason it was the Chicago Bears and Jay Cutler. For the past two weeks, the Bears have not only played well, but they have back to back victories.

Jay Cutler Rolling At The End

The Bears starting quarterback Jay Cutler had another confidence booster game this week as he threw the football for 276 yards and four touchdowns. Not only did Cutler throw the football well, but he actually played an entire game without throwing an interception.

Not only did Cutler have a good game but fellow players like Greg Olsen, Devin Aromashodu and Matt Forte had solid games as well. Even Devin Hester came back this week and had some big plays.

This team has a lot to change this offseason if they are going to be a playoff team next year but this was a foot in the right direction.

Expect all Bear players to come at a value next year at fantasy football drafts.

Lions Lose Again

Not only did the Lions lose another game, but they won't receive the number one pick in the draft. With number two pick the Lions will probably need to focus on getting the best offensive tackle or defensive player they can find.
Bears vs. Lions

I wouldn't be surprised if they do go with a lineman as it should help their stars of now and the future in Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson.

Speaking of Johnson he had a good game this week and ended the fantasy football season with productive games down the stretch. This was nice to see because there is no doubt that Johnson was one of the bigger busts at receiver this year.

True, this poor season was large impart because of a bad knee that Johnson was limited by. Just the fact that we've seen Johnson show production in yardage and a score here and there is encouraging.

Johnson needs to stay healthy next year if he is going to be worth drafting as one of the top ten receivers at 2010 fantasy football drafts.
